TANJUNGPINANG CITY

TANJUNG PINANGTanjungpinang city is the capital of Riau Islands Province,  Indonesia. With coordinates 0 º 5 'North Latitude and 104 º 27' east longitude. The city has charm with diversecultures attract interest from  virtually all of Indonesia into this city, with the Malay language which is still considered a classic, and a little unique sound in the ears ofpeople from out of town but has its own charm. This city has enough tourist areas such as Penyengat Island which is only about 2 miles from the sea port of Tanjung Pinang,Trikora with white sand beach about 65 km from the town and the beach Mirror in the city center. Tanjung Pinang upgraded into a city with Law No. 5 of 2001, dated June 21, 2001. There is a small town located approximately 24 miles from this town called Kijang city.
